Sweet Tooth was publshed on August 21st, 2012. This novel is about the protagonist, Serena Frome's, experiences during the early 1970s. After graduating from Cambridge she is recruited by MI5. As a result she becomes involved in a covert program to combat communism by infiltrating the intellectual world. However, she becomes romantically involved with her adversary and complications begin. Like McEwan's other novels, Sweet Tooth has become a huge success and is being developed into a movie.
